Little surprises

This morning, as I was studying for my coming mock exams, my dad came in with the best surprise he could give me at that moment.

Yep! A cookie! A delicious, crumbly cookie with chocolate chips :') It was SOO damn good! Yum yum!

Anyway, This is what I had for lunch:

A bit of rice with peas and chicken, Sometimes I feel like I have peas all the time :l

xx

Quick and easy

Yesterday, afternoon, as I came back home I realised that there wasn't much to eat. I was out of rice and I had finished my favourite corn-made tortillas the night before. Exasperated, I did the only thing I could. Put whatever I found together.
I didn't even cut the bread of my sandwich correctly. In fact, I couldn't even tell which side was up and I was quite disappointed in my self. I guess watching to back-to-back seasons of Masterchef isn't gonna transform you into one too. But Basically, I put in some chicken, some peri-peri sauce, some mayo, and although I didn't really want to at first, I added in some juicy corn. :l To be fair, it tasted just fine :D

Too lazy or not-so-hungry?

So you know what I eat when I'm either too lazy to make something or when I'm not that hungry?

Well, Thursday night, I boiled some peas and fried a crispy chicken patty. I thought it was good food until I was too tempted and had coke with it and ruined the whole healthy-meal thing I was trying to do. Oh well. I did try, honest!

The cold and piercing winters..brrr..

Last Friday, it turned out to be PRETTY rainy. And no, it didn't look pretty. It was annoying, wet and cold. Brrrrr. And all the way back home, I was thinking of eating the chocolate and orange carte d'or lying in my freezer but by the time I came home, I was SOOOO cold and my throat was kinda getting sore so I was like hey, why not..?
I ended up having a warm, simple, vegetable soup. It had tomatoes, onion, peas and carrots. It wasn't something fancy, but it was just the right thing to have. Now to think of it, I just realised that the reason I burned my tongue was because I used a steel spoon. The Masterchef judges would kick me out before they even taste my food xD

Rolls

One of my first ever experiments after my mom left was a sort of roll. Basically, I didn't get any special ingredients for it. I just threw in whatever we had and yeah xD
I know it isn't rolled in the picture, but I did roll it while eating it. And nope, that isn't ketchup because I don't eat ketchup AT ALL. That is why ever since my mom and brother have left, we haven't bought any ketchup :l It has chicken, some barbecue sauce and some chilly sauce. o.o  At least I know how to fry things now...

Packed food companies... liars.

So basically, my dad is a big lover of change and trying out different things. Basically anything at all as long as it is something different without really considering if it is something good or not. Like recently he has been talking about moving cities. It's really making me cringe because we moved here only a year ago and now he wants to move again -_- But fortunately, getting different types of food doesn't make me that mad because.. heh.. at least it's only one meal.. ^_^

According to the box, this is what the prawn curry was supposed to look like...
This is what I got. And no, it may seem like the prawn is in the curry, but actually they were really tiny chunks of them in there. And I don't eat prawn at all, let alone prawn curry. In fact, I think I've only had them once before and I didn't know if what I tasted was right or not..
Not sure what I'm trying to say here, but oh well xD

My love for chocolate

It is hard not to buy these babies every time I see them <3 <3 The love of my life :') And I have loved them since the very first time I ever had them. Since the first time they touched my mouth. They are the best reality there can be *_*
